This story tells of doctors stationed in the fictional war zone of Urk (Uruk), and follows the love story that develops between a surgeon, Kang Mo Yeon' and a special forces officer, Yoo Shi Jin, both elite in their respective fields.
What we all hope for is that all our favorite shippy couples end up like Eugene and Ki Tae Young.
Every time there is a sparkling, sizzling, scorching new onscreen pairing, drama viewers of various persuasions suddenly feel this uncontrollable urge to scream at the screen: Just Date Already! It’s often exhilarating, but mostly painful since the number of co-stars who ended up dating is a tiny fraction of the amount of acting couplings out there.
And the number that end up walking down the line I can count on one hand.
The drama, however, had such a good flow that I didn't even notice, and although the conflicts are episodic the romance and relationships between the characters were developed consistently. Not only were the main actors amazing, every actor breathed life into the supporting characters. Each one of them actually had their own distinct personalities and characters that added so much substance to the show.
The chemistry between the leads and the second leads was one of the best I've seen.
